Eco friendly Resin

The Polyester resin, which is used in conventional surfboard production, represents the most toxic part of the surfboard. These resins contain carcinogens, which are corrosive and water polluting substances. Not only is the shaper exposed to these materials, but they also damage the environment by polluting the water and the atmosphere. The fabrication of this resin relies on fossil fuels such as mineral oil.

After many years of research, Kun_tiqi uses an eco resin with extraordinary strength and durability. It contains 55% vegetable oil, is transparent and UV resistant. It is the latest development in eco friendly materials for water sports products.
